My complaint on AFF

After I've came their, more people came there. Some of them are absolutely nutters! One of my fears is that AFF will go from glorious, into pure crap. But I believe some may tell me that it was already pure crap to start.

There will be nutters always and everywhere in life, also on AFF.
AFF has got good members too.
Atmospheres in forums differ from time to time.
I think that if you want to discuss AFF, and want to improve AFF, AFF will be the place to do so.

You get nutters and idiots on every board; I seem to remember a certain militant aspie....

But seriously - AFF, and to a much larger extent WP serve as first ports of call - a place to find your online feet as it were and ye gods, its a pain to type on this damned iPod, anyway - its still better than WP.

Places like this are lower key - much lower turnover of new members means less nutbars - unfortunately, AFF is getting the people that WP doesn't want, and of course the small fact that a certain someone banned the vast majority of the good members....

Yeah, nutters will come and nutters will go. And some nutters will stay -- that's basically the way of things.

*I left AFF myself because I was no longer sure that it was possible to feel welcome there, so I can only make an estimate of what it is like there now.*

Been on a few nutter-filled sites where one half is fervently committed to hating the other.

Sometimes the trick is just to go with the tide. As with tides, the insanity will most likely wane.

I left after that incident involving that ban-happiness. But I've sort of started going back recently. Just to poke around, see what's happening.

Haven't been there since we formed Spectrum Island, then came here. Well, except once, to rescue my PMs.

I spent sooooo much time there - but the people I interacted with most aren't there anymore - they were banned.

In fact, you could sat that it was one of those bouts of insanity that created Spectrumites, and I am glad to be here, and to have left that insanity and drama behind.
