Disappearing threads and forum sections?

So, I made a bunch of posts here maybe a week or two ago (I'm not really good with time) and haven't been back since. I see that the forum layout has changed, with a lot of sections gone and/or replaced by new ones. Specifically, less Autism Speaks-centered ones. I am not complaining about this; however, I cannot locate a number of threads that used to be in these sections which I had posted on. The posts do not appear under "your posts" in my user panel and a search reveals nothing. Were these threads deleted? If so, why?

I've only moved one thread out of visible space. And that was a reported one. Person who posted it has been banned, his/her only purpose seemed to be offensive in a nasty way.

The layout here has not changed either. Frankly, I would not even know how to change it.

It does look different though depending on how you enter. The openingpage is very different from the board index page.

I seem to have gotten a bit confused, actually. I've been rather ill lately and it affects my thinking. I go to about 10 different forums and I think I got this one confused with a different one! Thanks for all your comments, though.

I do feel rather silly now. ^_^;

I understand as well...I was recently ill with flu and getting very lost around my apartment..even moreso than usual.
